I know, I said I hated doggy dog shitcoins. Why do I hate them though? I’ll tell you why. While I’ve done well in crypto over my 8 years so far, nothing gets to me more than when I look back at the dust of the coins I sold for quick x10s on day 1.
Hoge, Feg, Akita, Shiba…. I was in and out first day, and the list goes way beyond that. But, even with just those I calculated recently that if I had held all of them for just 2 months instead of running away on the first day with gains because I thought they were bullshit, I’d have made $3,134,111,091. Yes, that is the correct amount of digits.
Not to say I’m not happy where I’m at, but… yeah, you know what I mean. Coupled with that is the fact that I despise BSC so I’ve stayed away from anything SafeMoon. So I’ve essentially fudded myself out of 5 different near $1b marketcap moonshots.
Anyway, a couple of days ago I saw a ticker appear in a listing bot that said $SMI and I randomly clicked… and saw the name of the coin that I knew would take me to Valhalla. The one I could finally trust in to right the wrongs I had made on so many community coins this year. SafeMoon Inu.
I was confused at first because everything SafeMoon had been on BSC prior, but I double-checked and yes I was looking at a brand new ETHEREUM BASED token. And not just any token, but one that somehow figured out how to take what happened when peanut butter and jelly first combined, and apply it to the two most recognizable memecoin community brands in all of cryptocurrency right now.
I found the TG, no one was answering, there was no site. Had I been rugged?
Low and behold one of the most gorgeous sites of these types of coins appeared on the internet, and before long there was a very friendly admin there to greet me, there were 20 people in the TG at this time.
See now that I finally have come to terms with the power that these communities truly weild, I knew I wanted to find one I could immerse myself in from the ground up… I just wanted it to be one that was 100% safe and with the branding taboot.
- A community in which I can take EVERYTHING I’ve learned from cryptocurrency and apply it in a meaningful way.
- A community where I can project manage anything I want to do (already working on 3D models for a stuffed SafeMoon Inu, booking it a trip to space with a ledger filled with tons of SMI as a collar, and creating an immersive NFT to go along with it).
- Liquidity locked for 6 years, renounced ownership, no funky dev wallets, no Vitalik owned coins, no hidden functions, no excluded wallets…. all of it.
- A community filled with veterans instead of .70c panicky Doge buyers, as well as a nicely stuffed war chest to go along with it for intense and extended marketing.
I fell so in love with this coin and community I even decided to help admin the channel, which I haven’t done on a coin in a LONG time.
Regardless… the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. This time I am holding, I am participating, and most of all…. I am excited for what the future can bring, since we’re the ones in charge of creating it.
It’s not every day you find a safe community, but it’s even rarer to find a great one.
